Merry Old England Continued

After having lots of fun in Oundle, it was time to take on London. So, we hopped on a train at Peterborough and headed to King's Cross, then to Paddington Station. Here's a busy tube stop. Everyone rushes. I mean, RUNS. It's like a constant cattle herd, and you're always afraid of getting squished because it seems like EVERYONE knows where they're going - except you. A bit stressful!

My first view of London after getting off the tube. Thanks a lot, Burger King.

We went to the hotel and dropped off our baggage. Our hotel was near Hyde Park, so we headed out to landmarks near there. Here we're walking, walking, walking through Hyde Park toward Albert Hall.

Hyde Park.

Part of the Albert memorial. There were beautiful statues all around it, with different time periods and cultures represented.
