Merry Old England Part 1

Our trip to England - Sept. 11-24, 2009!!! It was amazing, the fulfillment of a lifelong goal. Everyone was so nice, especially all of Alex's family members and family friends, some of whom even opened up their homes and let us stay with them. We saw so many amazing things: 1,000-year-old buildings, world-famous landmarks, English beaches and lots more!

And now, some photos...

The very first thing I saw when we got through customs at Heathrow: Starbucks! Just like home! I then proceeded to accidentally cut in front of everyone in line and make a complete ass out of myself.

Having a Harry Potter moment. They have a little luggage trolley lodged halfway through the wall at Platform 9 3/4, like it's going through to the Hogwarts Express. I was not the only person wanting a photo there - there were at least two or three other adults in line waiting for a photo. :)
